Kathrin Borhof is an artist from Mülheim an der Ruhr within the Ruhr District, Germany. She holds a master of arts degree from Peter Behrens School of Arts, Düsseldorf.

"My works include oil paintings, sketched style pencil drawings and linocut prints. Inspirations come from various sources, but overall, nature is my greatest source of inspiration. The animal and botanic world has always fascinated me for its liveliness, simplicity and timeless aesthetics. My latest works are driven by the fascination for water surfaces found in my hometown. The sensitive interpretation of different layers, lights, reflections, movements, pastosity as well as transparencies are an exciting challenge for me."
